For instance, say, that the 9th lord occupies Magha, which is Ketu’s Nakshatra, 3rd pada. Why? Because the Trinal Nakshatras always have the same Nakshatra Lord. The Trines of the Transiting can also be looked at as those points are also closely connected to the transiting Graha.

If the Nakshatra pada of the 9th lord is known, by observing the movement of Guru in that Nakshatra Pada, it is possible to arriving a more precise timing of the event. However, it is important to note when Guru is transiting close to the natal longitude of the 9th lord. For instance, when Guru transits the natal 9th lord, it can give rise of fortune, good luck and success in some important endeavour. The transit of a Graha on the Natal position of various Grahas are extremely important, as they give rise to important events in life. This needs to be fine tuned based on its movement through various Nakshatra Padas or Navamsas. In my observation, tracking the Rasi movement of the Grahas is a crude way to understand the impact of these Transiting Grahas on life. Of course, there will be some difference in strength depending on the Day on which the Hora occurs. What does it imply? On any day, the vibrations of Surya is very strong in its Hora. For instance, when a Work needs to be performed on a Sunday, if it can’t be done, Narada Purana suggests that the same work can be performed in Sun’s hora on any day. This principle is similar to the concept of Day and Hora. However, when the graha occupies Mesha Navamsa, the vibration of Mesha on the Graha is very clear and focused. When a Graha is placed in Mesha Rasi (in D1), the graha is influenced by the vibrations of Mesha Rasi, however, the Vibration is broad and is combination of many subtle vibrations. The Rasi placement of Grahas in Navamsas indicate the subtle energies the Grahas are imbibed with. There is no doubt that Navamsa is a very important division in Jyotish. If you did a good job, people will have good impression about you, else, you can be in troubles often. For instance, if you change your job, what you did in your previous workplaces will always follow you like a shadow. So in a way, our freedom of actions and manifestation of results are bounded by the past life Karmas.

The Navamsa division is vital as it indicates the sum total of previous Janma Karma and how it is going to affect the good and bad events in this life. The Nakshatra Padas are very important concept in Jyotish, because they are mapped to the Navamsas. TIMING THROUGH GRAHA’S NAKSHATRA PADA TRANSITS
